Metallic coatings have long been used by professional faux painters. Crescent Bronze was chosen for several large projects including The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, The Lotus Bar in Denver and The Oasis Restaurant in Los Angeles. And last year Chicago's Ravenswood Studio chose Crescent Bronze metallic products for the extravagant sets depicting the pharoah's residence in Verdi's opera, Aida. The sets were transported in semi trailers between 4 major cities and commissioned to last 20 years. Durable coatings were required and Crescent Bronze's products fit the bill.
